Crimson colour with good clarity. Complex nose of ripe plums and dried herbs. Bottle development imparts a slight gamey quality. Juicy and bright on the palate with solid acids giving grip. A wine to enjoy now for those who have been patient. (CORK)
Dark magenta showing slight development characters with orange tinges. Here it is another great example of development at its finest with the help of screw caps. Ripe cherries with forest floor and wild strawberry leaf notes. Drying tannins combined with softening acids and oak influence make this wine a pleasure to consume. May last for a few more but a strong recommendation of enjoying now. (STELVIN)
Delicate crimson in colour. Savoury notes of dried herbs are matched with plummy dark fruits with a hint of old spice. A savoury quality provides interest on the palate with fading acids and subtle tannins making this wine seem a little lighter than previous vintages. Enjoy now. (STELVIN)
Deep ruby with purple highlights. Lots of bright fruit meet you when you enjoy this wine. Raspberries and wild strawberries with cherries in abundance. Oak is integrated nicely and gives subtle hints of sweet spice and toffee. Silky tannins working with firm acid make this pleasurable now but shows promise for the near future, especially with gamey meats(venison) and earth veg(beetroots) . (STELVIN)
Bright ruby in colour. Ripe strawberry with slight confectionary influence lead through to charred oak and fragrant dried herbs. Sour cherry fills the palate alongside some solid acid and lifted spice on the back. Palate weight is perfect and provides the drinker with depth of character. Will evolve into one of our best. Deep crimson with a purple rim. Loads of forward ripe fruit with strong oak influences. Lifted aromatics of raspberry, red currant and spice. A good savoury grip on the palate gives structure and balance where needed. Integrated at 3 years of age shows consumption over the next 3-5 will be rewarding. (STELVIN)
