Vibrant gold in colour, with aged aromas of honey and toast plus varietal characteristics of pungent citrus. On the palate softening acids provide some structure along with toffee and almond hints towards the back palate. Recommend drinking soon. (CORK)

Bright straw in colour. Hints of kerosene pairs nicely with a freshness of lemon zest and minerality. The wine is held together with balanced acids which makes this a very interesting and enjoyable wine. Drink relatively soon to enjoy this aged Riesling. (CORK)
2002 Pennon Hill Riesling (Great Western) - Tasted May 2010
Pale straw in colour. An interesting aroma of caramelised fig intrigues the senses. Lifted notes of intense lime and honey suckle followed with ripe apples and sweet spice fill the palate with sensation. A beautiful mineral texture provides a delicate touch. Perfect drinking now to enjoy a wine at its peak. (CORK)
2003 Montalto Riesling - Tasted May 2010
Vibrant yellow in colour with no indication of age. Aromas open with struck match and kerosene while on the palate lively acid with lots of lifted apple and lemon curd make this wine linger on. Can definitely see the benefits of screw caps as this wine can still evolve further. Stunning drinking now especially with seafood. (STELVIN)

Pale yellow in colour. Apples and honey suckle with hints of kerosene. An array to citrus fruits on the palate, supported by a mineral finish. Softening acids give the wine a rounded quality which provides the drinker with the option of enjoying now or cellaring for a further 2 years. (STELVIN)

Straw in colour with green tinges. Granny smiths and lemon rind followed by floral notes makes this wine look beautifully fresh. The palate has hints of lemon curd and sweet spice. Penetrating acid freshens the palate while also providing structure for further development. (STELVIN)

Bright yellow in colour. Golden delicious apples with clove and a touch of honey all come together in abundance to give this wine its quality.
