DINING: PICNICS A picnic at Montalto is a unique experience. An afternoon in your own private and beautiful location – whether it be high on Pennon Hill under towering gums with sweeping views of the vines to the sea, next to a reedy dam in an Australian countryside setting, or tucked away next to our young orchard. Relax and enjoy the company of your dining companions as every detail is looked after by Montalto. A table set with white linen, quality crockery, glassware and cutlery, your selected estate wine and a menu inspired by the freshest seasonal, local and estate produce. Dedicated picnic staff will direct you to your site and deliver all your needs in Morrey, our estate Morris Minor. Enchant your sweetheart or frolic with family and friends. Food for the Montalto picnics is freshly prepared on the day by the award winning Montalto kitchen. A series of elegant grazing platters to share might include (menu changes daily): We cater for groups from two to a maximum of eight people, with each site able to accommodate a different number of guests. Picnics are $70 per head, with wine purchased in addition. Gift vouchers are available online for picnic experiences, click here to purchase or contact us by telephone. As food is prepared specially for picnics, we request a minimum of 48 hours notice, however due to the popularity of picnics, bookings should be made as early as possible. We require 24 hours notice of cancellations/number changes. Picnics cancelled with less than 24 hours notice incur a 100% cancellation fee, those paying by voucher will have voucher voided. |
